 Academic Background

I have a PhD in biochemistry and nutrition sciences and more than 20 years of experience in cancer research. As a biochemist, I was specialized in cellular and molecular biology, with a focus on the effects of nutrition on cancer processes and metabolic diseases.
Today, after having completed a degree in nutritional sciences at the University of Potsdam, I work as nutritional counsellor for prevention and treatment.

My focus areas include:
• Individuals with metabolic disorders (such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc.)
• Nutritional guidance for cancer patients (e.g. undergoing radiation or chemotherapy)
• General preventive lifestyle changes.
• Group classes for weight loss and preventing metabolic diseases.

I am recognized in Germany by the VFED (Verband für Ernährung und Diätetik e.V.), and work with statutory and private health insurances.
